This year’s theme for Latino Heritage Month is “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.” This call for reflection and mutual celebration of our shared power resonates deeply with “Arts, Culture, y Bienestar” and our mission to protect the mental well-being of California Latinos through the arts. In fact, strengthening Family Resilience is essential to our community’s success.
As we honor our unique contributions to the American narrative, it is important to understand and appreciate the role that Resilience—the ability to adapt and bounce back despite challenges—has played in empowering our Culture. The Bienestar project aims to support Latino families, helping them navigate today’s challenges and thrive. By building up collective Resilience, alongside professional support where needed, families and communities can regain a sense of control and navigate challenging times more effectively. We invite everyone in our community to join us in promoting Family Resilience during this important month.
Arts, Culture, y Bienestar is an inclusive initiative that welcomes all community members to engage, learn, and take action to protect their mental well-being. We invite you to explore valuable resources that support your Bienestar journey through the links below. Together, we can inspire a brighter future.
